Summary:
The Director of Marketing and Community Outreach is an integral part of BNN's management team. Reporting to the General Manager, You coordinate all community outreach activities for BNN members, non-profit clients, BNN community outreach sites and viewers.
You will coordinate all public relations and outreach activities for:
• Collaborations with community NPO's, schools and residents
• BNN Public Access production facilities and training
• BNN's two local cable television channels and website
• BNN News/Neighborhood Network News, a nightly local news program
• BNNLive, a turnkey interactive studio for use by non-profit groups
• BNN's Community-based multimedia computer center
• Special community television programming You must have lots of initiative and motivation, as well as a willingness to learn new skills to share with others. You must have excellent communication skills (email, phone and print).
In total, you will be BNN's voice as expressed through all channels of community outreach, public information and social media marketing including press releases, email, web, search/SEO, mobile web and all technologies that impact Boston residents in the 21st century.
