Recently established PEG local access channel has two part-time positions available. We are looking the right candidates for:
Part-time Government Access Coordinator
Part-time Public Access Coordinator

Both positions are part-time (eighteen to twenty one hours per week,) positions requiring willingness to work flexible hours that will include days, evenings, and some weekend days. Primary hours of facility usage and coverage would be afternoons and evenings on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Please note that some government meetings and community events do have the potential to continue into the later half of the evening. There is always the potential for more hours depending on the events and meetings that occur. Either position could be an excellent part-time job or second job as well as a way to develop experience working within this field.

Applicants should have an Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree in Communications/Media/Art or equivalent experience in public access television as well as an understanding of public access television and local origination programming, strong computer skills, and should possess knowledge of video production equipment. Applicants should also possess strong communication skills, be organized, demonstrate the ability to work with diverse groups of people of various ages, have the ability to work independently and to be a self-motivator.
