GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
The Production Coordinator is responsible for engaging and coordinating the public throughout the media production process. Coordinating the production of the variety of community production opportunities. Work with the community and Interns through an organized process including; scheduling and reserving equipment, training opportunities and workshops, and direct assistance to make the media production process enjoyable and attainable for those who are interested.
These responsibilities are based upon the principles, practices and techniques of public, education and government access operations.
Responsibilities:
- Train and Qualify members for production positions
- Coordinate production schedules and crew assignments
- Multi Camera Production in studio, as well as on location
- Inform the community and its institutions about the availability, goals and uses of community media
- Create opportunities to engage community in what North Andover CAM has to offer
- General production opportunities; News, event coverage and marketing commercials for activities in the community
- Assist in instructing progressive youth media production workshop schedule to promote content creation
- Coordinate and maintain an active volunteer base through production opportunities and encouragement with direct interaction to provide support and assistance.
- Maintain our member and equipment database.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- BA degree in Communications or related experience
- Ability to work effectively with diverse groups, individuals, ideas, and opinions.
- A self motivated individual who demonstrates resourcefulness in achieving goals
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work with professionals and non-professionals
- Video editing skills, familiar with Adobe Creative Cloud software
- Knowledgeable and proficiency in television program production.
- Knowledge and conceptual strength regarding computers
- The ability to work on your feet for most of a shift on any given workday.
