SUMMARY: Experience with radio broadcasts/streams, remote live and recorded productions, and virtual productions via remote platforms, DAW editing systems (Logic Pro X, Audacity, GarageBand) and the ability to work with a diverse community.
RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Experience with DAW software and editing
- Familiarity with live audio and music mixing
- Assist with managing an maintaining podcast platforms
- Familiarity with FCC rules and regulations
- General understanding of radio programming, switching and automation
- Assists in writing, recording, editing and tracking the Department's audio content
- Assists in scheduling and coordinating producers
- Data input and reporting
- Overseeing interns
- Other duties as assigned
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
- One (1) year experience or equivalent education
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
- Knowledge of digital video production systems and software for video transfer and web development preferred
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds of equipment
- Excellent judgement and ability to focus on details
- Valid driver's license
COMPENSATION:
This is a part time hourly position. The hourly rate is $20.00 per hour, hours not to exceed 58 hours per pay period (biweekly).
