DESCRIPTION
The Local Seen, a community media center that serves the four communities of Duxbury, Kingston, Pembroke & Plymouth, is seeking candidates for the part time position of Government Meeting Stringer. This position would be dedicated to Board & Committee meeting coverage in one of our towns on an assigned basis. This individual is responsible for the production duties that are part of the position. Duties listed but not limited to: on the job site training, dedicated coverage of meetings with the audio and video components and working with our staff on the continuous and evolving technical aspects of the position. Willing to train candidate.
· On an assigned basis: regular televised or recorded coverage of government meetings in one of our four towns.
· Flexibility in working in multiple rooms & sites throughout the towns.
· Responsible for overseeing the audio and video components of meeting coverage, unique to each site.
· Working with the Local Seen staff on both an administrative and technical basis.

General Job Requirements
· Strong organizational, time and project management, listening skills.
· Flexibility to work primarily weeknights and as needed: weekend schedule
· Demonstrated experience with Vmix/Tricasters.
· An essential understanding of virtual meeting platforms including Zoom.
· Technological flexibility in working with a variety of audio and video elements.
· Willing to learn camera and studio equipment.
· Must have own transportation.
· Ability to follow the Local Seen procedures in-field or in-house.
· Experience working with a diverse group of people.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
· Familiarity with government meeting coverage and procedures.
