Full-Time Video Production Coordinator: High School Studio
Natick Pegasus is a nonprofit public access TV station in Natick, Massachusetts. Natick Pegasus operates three channels (Government Access, Education Access, and Public Access), which are watched throughout Natick on RCN, Comcast, Verizon, and online.
Natick Pegasus is looking for an energetic and creative full-time High School Video Production Coordinator/Engineer to assist with the day-to-day operations of the High School Studio. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, working with high school students and staff in studio production, remote production, and post-production. And to oversee the production of band and choir concerts and other evening specials. The high school studio and its office are in a separate building from the corporate office and public access studio. Please note a different employee handles high school sports, and the video curriculum is co-taught with a high school teacher.
Hours:
This position matches school hours with some evenings and weekends. The current hours are M-F 7a - 3p.
Compensation:
This is a salary-benefited position. $55,000 -$60,000 a year.
Applicant Requirements:
Applicants should be familiar with working with both Mac and Windows operating systems, Final Cut Pro, Motion, Photoshop, video switchers, digital audio mixers, basic computer networking, and SDI/NDI video transport.
Applicants should also have experience with directing, technical directing, broadcast audio mixing, front-of-house audio mixing, and graphic design.
College degree in Communications, Television Production, or a related field.
Must have experience in studio television production, field production, editing, and producing documentaries. A valid driver’s license, automobile, good people skills, and the ability to work independently and as a team.
Work Environment:
Should be able to sit or stand for long periods of time. Climb ladders, Life 50 Pounds, and operate in both indoor and outdoor environments including but not limited to high heat, extreme cold, snow, rain, and direct sunlight for long periods at a time.
